1.1. Implementation of the DSM directive

The DSM implementation was finally approved in Finland on 27 February 2023, literally on the final day of the parliamentary sessions for Finland’s 2019–2023 parliamentary term. The amendments transposing the directive (EU)2019/790 and directive (EU) 2019/789 came into force on 3 April 2023 (263/2023).
